Deleted Scene Revealed! Before Died, Tony Stark Meet His Daughter As An Adult

It has just been revealed that there were scenes that were removed from the best-selling films in the history of AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Had there been an extended version, there were still many scenes that were not included in the film due to certain considerations.

The deleted scene was revealed when the Disney streaming service application, Disney Plus, was finally released on Tuesday local time. Many fans were surprised when they saw a scene where Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) met his daughter, Morgan, who was growing up. The two-minute-long scene can be watched together with comments from director Anthony and Joe Russo or not. Of course, in the Disney Plus app.

1. A scene after Tony Stark snapped his finger

Reporting from Insider.com, the deleted scene occurred after Iron Man snapped his finger when using Iron Gauntlet. Actually, he had time to transport to a mysterious place and confusion before finally hearing a voice calling his name.

When he turned around he saw a beautiful girl whom he immediately recognized as the princess Morgan who had grown up. The character Morgan is currently played by Katherine Langford, whose name is indeed included in the list of players AVENGERS: ENDGAME but did not appear in the film and made me curious. This finally also answers the question of what is the character of Langford in the film.

2. Tony and his ‘Grow up’ Daughter

After seeing Morgan, Tony approached the princess and said, "I think this works (the effort of snapping his fingers)."

"Yes, this works for me. I can live, grow. For you, I cannot answer," Morgan answered.

Tony was immediately upset to hear the princess's answer and felt regret. But Morgan was convinced that he was very proud of his father and was sure that someone had to do it.

"I'm happy with the time we have and you're there for me until you can't anymore," Morgan said.

"I'm happy if you're happy," Tony Stark answered and kissed his daughter while whispering, "I love you 3000."

3. How Tony Could Meet The Adult Version Morgan?

In the comments session, the Russo brothers explained why there was such a scene. They sent Tony there so that the Iron Man could finish the unfinished in his life and make peace with his decision to sacrifice his soul. He can meet the adult version of the princess because of the infinite strength of the Infinity Stone.

"This is the original version of what happened after Tony snapped his fingers. We took him to what we call Way Station to reflect what happened to Thanos and his daughter at INFINITY WAR," Joe Russo said.

 4. Why Was The Scene Deleted?

Russo Brothers then explained the reason they finally decided to eliminate the scene in the movie. They say if you include this scene, there are emotional effects that are lost and the film seems to have no end because there are still many more scenes.

"Because of the adult version of Morgan did not exist in the previous movie when we watched at the end, we felt there was no emotional connection. Although this is an extraordinary actor, we have no emotional ties to his character because we never saw him," explained Anthony.

Next, Russo brothers explain why it is better to eliminate this scene. First, they don't want the audience to have an idea that if anyone who snaps their fingers at Iron Gauntlet, they will experience the same thing. As we knew before Iron Man, Bruce Banner aka Hulk and Thanos did it first, but they had no view of the future after snapping their fingers.

Secondly, the phrase 'I love you 3000' spoken by Tony in the adult version of Morgan's ear, is likely not to have the emotional the value he said to the small version of Morgan in the video message he made before he died.
